The Body

I recently opened up my latest issue of ESPN Magazine..It was the Body Issue, which features athletes showing their bodies and they don’t leave much to the imagination. My favorite series of pics was of course Courtney Force…wow wow wow….easy boy! Then I snapped back to reality and had a conversation with Kenny Barr from radio Speed Talk and he has a different twist and thoughts.

Kenny’s thoughts and i quote

Ok opinion time, female racers always say they want judged by their abilities and not their sexuality, some garner sponsorships with their looks and not do much talent, where does this fall and does it go too far with nudity?”

So I began to think about how far is to far? We would love to have your thoughts on this subject. This may surprise you to hear but Danica Patrick declined an offer from ESPN to pose in the “Body Issue”.

Force is showing that racing cars for a profession is more than just sitting in a comfortable seat and pushing your foot to the floor.

Is Force altering your view of the athleticism of race car drivers?

We all know sex sells…But are these athletes setting a good or bad example? I would love to hear  from you on this?

Fever falls to the Lynx

Its been a great season for the Indiana Fever. Yes the other NBA team in town.

I know many of you are saying WNBA…Man card please. However I would highly encourage to take the family to a Fever game some time. They are the real deal, and yes you would get beat by a girl in a game of pick up.

The Fever clinched the home-court advantage in round 1 of the playoffs against the third-seeded and defending Eastern Conference champion Atlanta Dream.

Last night the fever traveled to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Lynx. It wasn’t to a great night for the Fever. According to AP “Maya Moore made five her six 3-pointers in the third quarter to tie the WNBA record and had a career-high 29 points in the Minnesota Lynx’s 86-79 victory over the Indiana Fever on Monday night.

The defending champion Lynx completed their home schedule with a franchise-record 16-1 mark and improved to 26-5 overall. They will finish the regular season with three road games.

Lindsay Whalen added 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Minnesota, which has already clinched home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.”

The Lynx won the championship last year after sweeping the Atlanta Dream in three games last October. The team is in first place in the league’s western conference this season.

The Fever may not be able to win the Division, that honor goes to  Connecticut Sun of the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 seed. However The Fever has Home Court Advantage. So get out and support your Indiana Fever in this exciting  WNBA post season

The 2012 Balance Fantasy Draft Results

So if you missed The annual draft party at BW3’S in Avon last night you missed a great time and the hottest wings known to man. Yes Brian Jessen and I did the tradition of ordering the Blazin. Red Flag should have been when they brought wings out and they were black. WOW…yeah I am no afraid to admit I had to order Milk. I literally felt like my stomach was of going to explode. All I can say is your not a real man until you eat a Blazin wing at BW3’s whewww mommy. Our Social Media director Michelle Derr was not as brave, however she did eat the second hottest and was a real trooper. It was a great time.

Ok down to business. I noticed some of the team owners were on “autopilot” which is fine however you be looking at your line up and say words that will make you cover the ears of children. Well don’t sweat it to much you can add/drop or trade until you get your team perfect. We have a couple weeks untill the real son starts

Also I will be setting the schedules and and divisions today.

MLB Expanded Playoffs For 2012

Major League Baseball is expanding its playoff format to 10 teams. MLB announced the move Friday, adding two clubs to the postseason format. A second wild-card team now will be included in each league. There then will be a one-game playoff to decide which team advances. Commissioner Bud Selig says the change “increases the rewards of a division championship and allows two additional markets to experience playoff baseball each year.” This is the first change in baseball’s playoff structure since the 1995 season, when wild-card teams were first added. In a further complication, both sides reached a consensus that ties for division titles would be broken on the field with a tiebreaker game under the new format, and not by head-to-head record.

Should MLB allow more teams in your Playoffs? This is The fans voice…Lets hear it
Which MLB playoff format do you prefer?
